Hinton Park has considerable experience in undertaking cremation
arrangements as well as in burials. We provide a comprehensive service and
have the experience, knowledge and facilities to cater for all
requirements. It is important to note that if you choose Hinton Park there
is no need to contact any other funeral director or undertaker. We make all
the necessary arrangements to meet your requirements and will undertake, or
help with, the appropriate paperwork. You may decide on either a plot in
the Garden of Remembrance, or on a plot in our Woodland. In either case,
you are assured that your loved one will not be disturbed by further,
later, activities.

| Final Resting Place | |||
 You may wish
to choose our Garden of Remembrance or the Woodland as the final resting
place. In either case, we will be happy to show you available plots and
advise you accordingly. We offer the facility for you to select and pay for
your plot in advance.
We will also be happy to arrange for viewing of your loved one here at Hinton Park, in our Place of Rest, prior to the cremation should you desire this option. In the burial ground, we plant a native tree and encourage the planting of wild flowers around the plot. In the Garden of Remembrance, we plant a rose bush or similar. For cremations not arranged by ourselves, we will be happy to discuss the provision of other facilities, such as a simple remembrance service, or use of our buildings should you feel these appropriate. | Unaccompanied Cremation | |||
|
Many people do not relish the idea of attending the cremation service, or
simply are unable to do so. We can offer 'unaccompanied cremations' whereby
Hinton Park staff will represent you at the crematorium. In these instances
we find people like to hold a service here at Hinton Park, either before or
after the cremation, and we are happy to accommodate either of these
requirements and assist you where we are able.
Subject to arrangements at the crematorium, we can arrange for the cremation to be undertaken in the morning and the ashes collected later the same day thus allowing for a service and interment all within the same day. Should you wish, we can also arrange for our staff to attend the cremation on your behalf with no remembrance service at Hinton Park, or where you wish your loved one's ashes to be taken elsewhere. Please call our staff who will be happy to discuss these and other arrangements with you. |
