From the North and East:
|
|
Leave M27 at Junction 1 for Lyndhurst. Go right around the one way system
at Lyndhurst until you see the A35 Christchurch and Bournemouth signs.
Proceed West for nine miles through the open Forest. The East Close Hotel
will appear on the left. You will pass the signs “Welcome to
Hinton” and a little further on the War Memorial. Continue for about
half a mile and you come to the “Cat & Fiddle" crossroads. Turn
left at the post box, signposted “Highcliffe & Walkford”.
Continue along Ringwood Road for about half a mile until you come to a row
of shops on the right. Proceed past the shops, take the next turning on
your left, which is Walkford Road, signposted “New Milton”. You
will then see The Walkford Hotel/Pub on your left about three hundred
metres along the road. Turn left into Wyndham Road immediately before the
Walkford Pub. Proceed straight to the end of the road, go over the railway
bridge and continue straight on for approximately half a mile following the
tarmac drive. You will see our Round Reception Building directly in front
of you. Turn left and park, or turn left and continue up the gravel road to
the Burial Ground itself.

From the West and Christchurch:
|

Proceed East along the A35 dual carriageway to the roundabout at the
eastern end of the Christchurch-by-Pass. On your left is
Sainsbury’s Supermarket, turn left up the A35. After 1.5 miles you
will pass the BP garage and the thatched Restaurant/Pub “The Cat
& Fiddle” on the left. Immediately indicate right and move into
the right hand lane. Turn right into the Ringwood Road, signposted
“Highcliffe & Walkford”. Continue along Ringwood Road for
about half a mile until you come to a row of shops on the right. Proceed
past the shops, take the next turning on your left, which is Walkford Road,
signposted “New Milton”. You will then see The Walkford
Hotel/Pub on your left about a quarter of a mile along the road. Turn left
into Wyndham Road immediately before the Walkford Pub. Proceed straight to
the end of the road, go over the railway bridge and continue straight on
for approximately half a mile following the tarmac drive. You will see our
round building directly in front of you. Turn left and park, or turn left
and continue up the gravel road to the Burial Ground itself.
