Information on Tree Planting
|
- The above list consists of true native English Trees. We are now
restricted by our Planning Permission to keep strictly to the above
species.
- We regret trees cannot be planted at weekends.
- We also must insist that we supply the tree.
- We also plant the tree ourselves, as we have trained staff, with
experience on staking, watering in, and the levels required for new
trees.
- Each year we plant trees about 2 metres (6 foot) high. Taller trees
are taller because they have now been growing in the Burial Ground for 5
– 6 years, but were 2 metres high when planted.
- We reserve the right to prune trees that are spreading wider than
their plot area, at least until the neighbouring plots are occupied.
- We regret that only one tree per plot is allowed.
- Occasionally a tree dies, and we shall then replace the tree with
one of similar height.
